These rules are part of our Terms of Service. They cover accounts, profiles, DMs, servers, calls, media, soundboards, clips, bots and webhooks.
1. Protect children
Never sexualise, groom, exploit or endanger anyone under 18. Child sexual abuse material, sexual requests involving minors and attempts to arrange exploitation are prohibited. Do not download, forward or attach such material to a report; send a reference instead.
2. Respect people
No threats, stalking, targeted harassment, bullying, raids, swatting, doxxing or hateful attacks based on protected characteristics. Do not expose someone’s private information or encourage others to harm them.
3. Keep sexual and graphic content out
No sexually explicit material, sexual services, non-consensual intimate content, sexual deepfakes, voyeurism, or shock content depicting extreme injury or cruelty. Private servers and DMs are included.
4. Do not promote serious harm
No recruitment, support or coordination for violent extremism, terrorism or real-world violence. Do not encourage suicide, self-harm or eating disorders, or provide instructions intended to facilitate them. Non-graphic support, recovery and legitimate educational discussion are allowed.
5. No scams or security abuse
Do not impersonate people or staff, phish, steal passwords or tokens, distribute malware, defraud users, manipulate reports, scrape private information, disrupt systems, or coordinate deceptive harmful campaigns. Keep bots and webhooks within authorised access and rate limits.
6. Respect the law and ownership
No illegal transactions, exploitation, trafficking, unlawful gambling, or trading stolen data, accounts, controlled goods or counterfeit documents. Do not share content you have no right to distribute.
7. Get permission to record
Every call participant must agree before clipping or recording, and consent can be withdrawn. Do not bypass the clipping consent system, secretly record calls or share private recordings without permission. Screenshots and external recorders cannot be reliably blocked, but using them to violate privacy or consent is prohibited.
8. Respect boundaries and moderation
Do not evade a suspension, ban, timeout or block to regain restricted access or continue unwanted contact. No spam, abusive automation or retaliation against reporters. Server rules may add requirements but cannot override Nexus rules.
9. Report responsibly
Use the safety form with usernames, relevant links or IDs and enough context to investigate. Never redistribute illegal material, send authentication secrets or publish accusations containing private information. Staff assess severity, context and safety risk; warnings are not required before action in serious cases.
Nexus platform staff may remove content, warn, restrict, suspend or permanently remove access. You may request a review through Safety & appeals. After review, the staff decision is final internally, subject to applicable law and your legal rights.
